Does anyone know of a place in SL I could buy a female walk animation that would let my avi do the stomp-walk that German runway models in the big European couture houses do? I've seen lots of model poses around, but my inner fashionista wants that walk, and if not here, where? and if not now, when?
Thanks!

I haven't seen anything but then again, I haven't been looking for it either. I have however, been touring animation places like crazy this past week or so. There is a notecard giver at the hangout with the least known animators that was drawn up with landmarks and everything and even names of the more popular ones - though those ones don't have landmarks. I wish they did because I can't turn up Lost Dog in a search and I really want to to go check them out. I have some Landmarks as well to some places not on that list that you could check out if you're interested, let me know and I'll shoot them over to you. Sorry I can't be more specific for you.

From: Stormy Dyrssen I can't turn up Lost Dog in a search LostDog...one word. Hey, is LAP (Long Awkward Pose) on that list? They have some great poses.

I searched for it as both cause I wasn't sure and I still can't find it in search. Perhaps I'm browsing through the captions to quickly and not catching something. I will try it again. I'm not all the way through the list, but I don't recall seeing that one, I also noticed on of my favs isn't on the list which is Vital Poses.

Thanks, Stormy! I'd love your list of animators. A search for my walk sounds like fun, especially if I don't have to use Search.
[LAP] animations are great. I have two animated stands from them in my A/O---Miss Attitude and C-Yup---and they are both first rate.
Thanks for your help....

Maitreya also has some runway walks, but I don't remember if any of them stomped.

I just bought one. Can't remember where I got it from, but when I go inworld later on again tonight I'll look it up. Unfortunately, you never really can get the whole effect yourself of how you are walking in it, since you always see yourself from the back, you know? But, I can tell that I am "stomping" when I use it.

If you press the down arrow, your av should walk towards the camera.

From: Aebleskiver Thibedeau Thanks, Elora. I would really appreciate knowing where you got it. It's called " w1) Second Frame Runway Walk" by Vicky Christensen. I don't remember what store it was from, but I know I got the store name from the list of vendors in the Forum Cartel animation vendor's box. I assume if you look her name up you'll be directed where to purchase it. BTW, this is not a walk you "wear" - it's more of an animation, like those dance animations that you play in-world, which I guess you can load into your A/O. I've been very lazy and never have gotten around to doing a full A/O yet, just use my sexy walk and I'm happy with that or, the shoes I use (which were a fortune) have a very good walk built in with several very good standing poses which has served me well enough. I bought the Model Walk, as a flight of fancy

I'm curious what you are referring to by "stomp-walk."

Wow, that was harder to find than I thought, but every girl in this clip is doing a modified stomp-walk, more or less. The fifth model (pink coat/blue hat), 50 seconds in, is doing the best one, though. Hope that helps... http://youtube.com/watch?v=wEGLlL8Iklw&feature=related

From: Johan Durant The store is Second Frame. Also, could someone post videos on Youtube or something that shows what you mean? I'm curious what you are referring to by "stomp-walk." It's the way models walk. They throw their hips off in a certain way which makes their legs swing out over each other, and they slam their feet down hard on impact. Sort of like a ponys gait but on 2 legs. Sounds odd, but for runway it's a mighty fierce way of moving. You have to be into fashion to understand I guess BTW, I dress very casually in RL for the most part, however, I have a bit of a fashion/photography/art background hence my interest in it regardless of my own personal style. I make up for it in SL with my AV

Anytime. Absolutely anytime.
But you know, you could play it locally and zoom in around the front of your avi, and see it. That's what I'm doing. It's really a very nice animation. You can tell it's a stomp-walk, but it's not so far out there it looks out of place.
Thanks again!
