I thought Ajax was what you used to get the urine stains out of the toilet?

Learn something new (and generally unintersting) every day!

Somehow, I think SL will lag, even without the graphics. And... why?! Do we really need easier botting?

A question I've seen asked but not answered: Isn't this a security risk, giving your SL password to an unknown third party?

It's so you can IM, etc., with friends even when not on a machine that can run the full program.

It's sad when the great Greek warriors of the Trojan War get reduced to being shills for corporations.

Very much so. Trust is the only thing keeping the website from shipping off your info to Black Hat Inc. But the idea is interesting enough i might use a sacrafical alt to try it out.

Yeah the problem with this an dthe libSL version is that your corpus exists in world but beyond your control.

A REAL solution would be if SL would actually allow an avatar-less login. No local chat, you aren;t even in world, but you connecte to the IM system. and get friends info (well if it ever works again).

THese half measures are still sim laggy and resource using as if you were really there. A lightweight IM system (even lighter weight than the IM to email actually) would be really nice!
