Go find a friend who speaks a different languge and spend a lot of time with them using a translator like a Babbler (or some web based translator). I have been doing this with a Spanish speaking friend (it hasn't always been easy), but my knowledge of reading and writing Spanish is getting better, slowly. Plus I have built a special bond with this girl since we have to work twice as hard communicating with each other.

Oh and the Barcelona Mall has a lot of Spanish speaking avatars (though this is not where I met my friend). :)

Did you look in Search/Events/Education? I think I saw some language classes listed there.

Eductaion UK is a couple of islands, dedicated to providing educational opportunities to UK based schools, colleges and educational providers.

One of the resident companies on Education UK is a commercial languages school called Languages United, they are based in Bath in the UK and will shortly be offering a range of SL based training in a wide variety of non-English languages.

Why don't you take a look there I'm sure that they will have something for you.

And, No, I don't work for them.
