My friend has ticked to allow me to view items in their inventory, but how do I view all of their items?

Where does one allow others to view your inventory?
I'm not aware this is possible.
You can allow people to modify your objects, but that's not the same thing.

My friend has ticked to allow me to view items in their inventory, but how do I view all of their items? The "Modify Objects" permission only affects the things that your friend has rezzed in-world. There is no way to access their inventory, othe rthan logging on as them, using their account name and password. Be warned that when you have "Modify Objects" permissions, it's a big responsibility. You can really screw up someone else's stuff with that permission. If you take someone else's thing into your inventory, or if you duplicate a copyable item, the duplicate or the item in your inventory takes on the "next owner" permissions. That can be more restrictive than what they used to have for that item. It's possible to DELETE items that you have mod rights on. So be careful!
