I have access restricted on my land to certain avatars in the Access tab on the land diaglogue box , but recently have seen strangers pop up in my house which is located in the sky (about 140m). I assumed since access was restricted that this shouldn't be possible. Can anyone tell me where I might have gone wrong? Do I need to also uncheck the box for which allow others to fly on my land? This is checked but I thought it would only apply to the listed avatars who have access. Does it? Any help would be appreciated Also, where is the info on this kind of stuff on this site now? There used to be a good Knowledge Base but I've looked and looked and couldn't find anything relating to basic land topics like this.

afaik the restricting access puts the banlines up (Which you won't see yourself) & they only go up to about 700ish metres, so more than likely your skyhome is above the limit for the lines. I'm not sure but maybe using the ban list instead ofg the access list will work? I'm sure others will know, if not could you move your skyhome below the banlines or use an orb?

Thanks Samaira - thing is the house is only 139m up, so I thought the ban lines would apply and no-one could get in.

Your house is above the ban limit... I believe it is somewhere between 40-70 meters

You can get a security orb (I recommend Psyke) that will allow you to protect the sybox. It will give intruders a warning and then either eject them or send them home, depending on how you set it. You can customize how much of a radius it scans, how much warning time they get and a few other variables.
I prefer it to the banlines even at ground level. Ban lines make the area kind of ugly, IMO.

Knowledge Base: From: someone What are the parcel ban and access heights?
The heights are:
* 768 m above the ground for Residents explicitly banned in About Land window's Ban tab. * 50 m above the ground for others not allowed on land, including restrictions in the About Land window's Access tab and the Ban tab's Deny by Payment Status options.
Falling from above onto a parcel you're not allowed into will cause you to continually bounce at the height limit.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Just had a thought - if the ban lines operate 40-70m, is that from your actual land height, ie if you have raised your land does that measurement start from the height you've raised it to or from the original base height?
