Hi all,

Back in about 2003, I purchased an item from the creator Radium Lumin. It is called a pixel. I have so many people who would like to purchase this pixel, and in searches in SL, Radium appears to not have an account anymore. Does anyone know if he is still around, and if he still has the pixels available? I have a friend who wants one really bad.. BTW, does anyone else own a pixel?

Ha ha ha,, I have a better pixel than you do!!! :) His name is Ben, and he is a great friend to have on SL. Which is why everyone wants that kind of pixel rather than the one on your computer!!!!! :)

If the creator is long gone (which is likely; churn and bitrot suck), then your only hope is commissioning someone to replicate the effort by posting in the Products Wanted forum.

Sounds intriguing; I even might be interested. :)

I seem to vaguely remember a thing called a pixel. I might be manufacturing a memory, but I think there is a chance that Kex Godel might have had a pixel. I think I may remember seeing them around.

Does anyone remember what the pixel does or did?

Anyone still have one?

I looked it up in the electric sheep search but didn't find anything useful. Also tried slexchange, slboutique, and Google, nothing useful.

I don't find any record of Radium Lumin after 2004.

It is kinda odd that in a world made of databases one can't find the data on something just a few years old, that existed primarily as a record in one of the databases, other than by asking people to search their memories.

It sounds like a pixel pixie. Is that what it is, Kathy?

That is a name I haven't heard in quite a while. I think I last saw her about 2 years ago. For those of who who were not around, Pixel was an early SL robot/pet/thingy which would answer to chat commands. Back in the day, Pixel was quite advanced.

I actually do still have that pixel. As far as I know, the only name it was called was "pixel". However, it does some great things. I have renamed mine to Ben, it will great people using the name Ben, it is a visitor type counter, and it has other uses as well. It is also editable for colors. It just looks like a small round ball with an antenna coming out of it. I still would be interested to know if anyone else has one. And if anyone knows the creator. I have a few people who would like one!
