Why do folks continue with this stream of though & SLOW DOWN the flow of creativity & fun in SL?

I few days ago, I posted a thread about a weapon that I THOUGHT was new, and could cause BIGGER probs for all the shops by shuttin 'em down using regular (meaning skilled AND unskilled SL newbies) an Army of new & old "SL Mercenaries", payed by anybody to take out the competition, so a posted a "Heads Up".

Why is it that most of the "Imperial, Caesar-Esque, Eldest Members" get all holier than thou every time somebody even REMOTELY new tries ta HELP OUT on the Forum? Huh?

Like a lot of the members I'm refferring to, I have been in MANY online communities over the years, but this one seems to have about the same (actively posting) percentage of condescending FOOLS... as the MOST Forums have idiot kids claming they are "a Gangster". Gangsters wouldn't have enough time ta learn LS unless they had a big RL money interest in it. Gang"STAS", except the ones on House Arrest, should be outside "puttin in work" according to the "laws of the street" in the subculture. That means sellin drugs, shootin enemies, NOT spendin all thier spare time in SL. If they did they would lose the turf to a more SERIOUS gang, that was about gettin money the REAL street thug way. But I digress... XD

Save the insults for who disrespects you!

I'm real careful not ta draw flames cause there's a lotta old and bitter members here, PLUS the communication gap w/ all our dialects, etc. Nah mean playa? Jeah mon!

If you're experienced in things Internet and forums, you know a forum is one big arm-wrestling match. One big "king of the mountain" game.

But in with the chaff there is and always has been wheat.

And never wrestle with a pig. You'll only get dirty and the pig will love it. Sage advice from one who has been in (and hosted) forums of all sorts for a very long time.
