SL clothing previewer problem?

The yellowish avatar is missing in the previewer for me to check my edges by I couldn't find any threads for a similar problem. Is it just me? I even tried a reinstall of SL. I'm trying to make a black teeshirt but Can't see the edges against the back ground very well :/ Thanks!

I think you have your tshirt alpha channel set to hide everything else except the tshirt. Which is exactly the way it should be. This is in the preview window when you are uploading a texture?

There is a clothing previewer program that is separate from SL. It allows you to preview the shirt with a skin underneath. I forgot the name but you can find a thread of it in the content creation forums down below.
