This is again a crazy Violet question, and I am sure I will again get wonderful help from all the more experienced people here: I need a lot of notecards and I would like to have some templates in Word and just cut and paste them into the notecards. Does that work somehow? Many thanks, Violet

Well sure you can just copy-and-paste the text, but note that none of the special formatting from Word will carry over. Notecards don't have fancy fonts or italics or any of that.
Are you asking how to copy/paste? Er, it's just like any other app: ctrl+c, ctrl+v

Well, this was a stupid girl's question, I am afraid It did not work with right mouse click, context menu. Of course it worked fine with ctrl-c, Thanks, Violet

If you want notecard-safe formatting so you don't have to go replacing all your ' - " characters, save the file as a text document - there's some option then to use DOS formatting or something (sorry, don't have it in front of me so I'm kinda making it up!) and if you select that it'll get rid of all your squigglies. Open, copy, paste, no character substitution.
