I was on the Galaxy cruise liner last night, taking advantage of their spa--which is AWSOME BTW--and it made me thinl that i would be fun to hang out with friends and work out at a gym sometime. Anyone know of any good ones?

Well, not really a gym but Lost Dog has a lot of fun gym equipment to play around with at their store in Brauer I think it is.

LOL. Open up the yellow pages of your RL phone book and select a RL gym since it will benefit you much more--you can even chat with people there and make friends. It's impossible to "work out" at a virtual gym. I'm not trying to be snotty, just giving friendly advice. :)

Yes, there are just some things no virtual world will be able to replicate.

I'm sorry, but there is something wrong with my first life. That's why I'm playing second life.

Might be a good time to take up building one....

If you make it a camping environment I for one would bench press for L's instead of dancing in a hut or sitting on a chair in a mall. Might be able to convince sport-clothing designers to have a couple adds there or special camping chairs that award you the lastest running shoe if you sit there the required time.

Not seen any gym's though.... sorry

Why does gym and SL make me think of gay sex theme RP room?

I have seen a high school locker room themed sex RP room, but haven't encountered a gym so far.

Who needs a gym when you have appearance sliders? That reminds me...anyone know of a good restaurant? I'm famished.

carlucci used to have a gym. the equipment there (bench, weighs, etc) was also for sale.

also try slexchange. search for "weights" and you'll get a couple benches. you can then seach for the creator in game and go to his/her store.

i myself have a weight bench with dumbbells, military press weights, sit-up mat, tread mill, punching bag, chin up bar, etc. you just have to do some searching.

you can then build your own gym and invite your friends over.

good luck.

The game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has 3 gyms, and as far as gaming/RP, I can see why somebody might want that just for fun. I'm sure Teejay knows that RL gyms exist. :p
