I like Lhorentso Nurmi. He's been a great newbie.

But as I take a step closer to creating a more meaningful presence in SL (and I'm close to my first 'job') I have new requirments for the me-brand.

Lhorentso is too much like the social-me and I need a business-me, starting from a name that is more representative of the brand I want to develop. Unfortunately we're stuck with a limited list of surnames so that brand needs to be expressed in the name. LL should offer a premium service to cater for commercial surnames.

I don't want to lose the assets Lhorentso has (more specifically, a nice house with a view).

Is there any way to change identity but retain assets? Or maybe I can transfer all over to the new-me?

Also, can one offer consultation services from an office located in a residential area? Kinda planning working from home to keep overheads low and avoid the commute.

I'm afraid there is no way to change your name; you will need to create a new account :/ You can of course transfer your items across to the new account, but only items with trans permission enabled.

You would have to ask your landlord/lady that.

Oh, just to add: LL do offer a service that provides an exclusive surname of your choice, but it is not cheap; I'm not 100%, but I seem to recall it being a four figure US$ sum.

Hmm... good to have that option, but not at that price.

Thanks for the feedback.

For what it's worth Lhorentso, I think you have a pretty cool name just like it is :)
