Hi,

ok,...this is a stupid question,....but how can I download a pic I've made in SL,...I know you can "save to disk" when you take one,...but how can I save it to disk when someone gives it to me ?

Thanks

You can only save it if the image or texture has full permissions.

OR, and this is sort of cheating... double click on the texture to bring it up on your screen. Zoom in on it as much as possible and then take a screen shot of it (use the PrtScrn button and then paste to your graphics program.) You will need to of course edit out the extra stuff around the edges but my friend and I do this all the time if we're feeling too lazy to actually email it to eachother (which is the best way). Please remember that most textures are created by people who've spent many hours perfecting them... not a good idea to steal them, which is what you'd be doing in this manner. But if you're only talking about a simple snapshot or whatever that you want to save to your hard drive, sure!

For example, I pose in a specific outfit and I don't want to take a 'snapshot' because I want to use that 'picture' for a sales box. I'll just use PrtScrn and paste to my graphics editor rather than dealing with the SL 'snapshot' feature.
