Hi everyone, apologies if this has already been posted, I know that people have posted saying they can't buy L$, i'm still unable to, is anyone else still having this problem?

Skip the LindeX and go directly to slexchange.com

SLExchange.com has a currency exchange which will allow you to buy Linden dollars.

I went through the self help until I got to the point I could put in a ticket. I may be waiting a while... Maybe it will magically fix itself; who knows? good luck!

I can't even add USD to buy from SLX.

I tried to withdraw some lindens from SLX and they never showed up in SL. Just a warning, I'm not sure if they'll ever show up. I did this some hours ago, so it might not be wise to mess with money until they say something is fixed.

EDIT: this never happened to me before with SLX, just today.

It looks like the method described by Ann Launey looks promising. Its late where I live and need to crash. I will try tomorrow. Good luck!

Have enough L$ in SLexchange now. I haven't tried to withdraw from an in-world terminal yet. But, thats ok as I buy alot on SLexchange anyway. :]

If you're getting the 'not authorized' message, make sure you've verified your account before attempting a USD deposit. This involves an email-generating link on the site and a trip to an in-world terminal to complete. Also, if you're using a credit card, don't be thrown off by the fact that you're sent to the PayPal site...there is a button to click on that page if you wish to use another payment method. I missed that when I first registered.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Hi,

I already had an SLExchange account. I just went to the SLX website, bought USD, filled in my personal info on the Paypal site (cc option), and converted the USD to Lindens. I left some in my SLX account as I buy there often. I went to a terminal in-world and withdrew a bit for use there. Thanks for your help!
