With so much negative stuff as of late I thought it would be nice to stop in and post this. Its not really a question but I was not sure where to place it so if it is in the wrong place, sorry.

As of 48 hours ago we had a dog that passed away and to say the least I had some upset children.
Well I had to find a puppy for them and I was able to find a Pug however they are high in price. So I decided to run a huge sale at my store and do a major price drop on my prefabs. I sent out a annoucement on what happen and why I was running the sale. Within 24 hours I had enough to purchase the new puppy all from people with big hearts at Second Life. I have to say... This made me do alot of thinking over the past 48 hours. We all come from all sorts of walks of life in Second Life but when it comes down to it in world... We are all one big family and most have huge hearts and are very caring. No place else in the world would you find people like that are in Second Life. The actions of all who supprted this cause really touched my heart. I mean yes I did lower my price wayyyyy down however I know that alot of them were customers before that and really did not need to purchase more but did so to support this. I have done my fair share of judging people in SL but no longer. This has really openned my eyes to things in a new light.

Bottom line... If the real world was more like Second Life... It would be a very happy place for all. The good in Second Life way outways the bad by miles.

Anyone who would like to see the puppy can find a pic here:

Very sweet puppy! And extra special, knowing that others made it possible.

The forums are a haven for negativity, but even the most negative or combative people on the forums (and at times I count myself one of them) are far FAR nicer in SecondLife proper.

I suspect we argue so bitterly and negatively on the forums... because we do care.

Congrats on your new family member! :D

Yes it does seem funny that we can all get along so much better in SL than we do in RL. No idea why that is....but I have seen that on the internet for years.

Glad you could get a puppy and the type you were wanting and sorry I missed your sale...but...one day soon I will be checking out more of your designs.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I congrats on the new puppy.

I would have done some shopping had I known.

And yes, I'm far more intense on the forum than in game, the forums seem to bring that out sometimes.
