Buying the own group land

This forum always was very helpful for me, so I am sure some friendly neighbor will have an answer to this:
I own 512+4096 sqm. My tier is 8192sqm, I deeded 2048 to a 2 person group (me and a friend). 2048 is still available. With the deeded 2048 our group bought 4096 sqm.
Now I want to offer my friend that I buy the group land (from her and myself). So I would have enough tier for the combined land. Is there a process where I do not exceed the peak tier of 512+8192 and where I only need money to pay half of the price (for my friend)?

If I'm reading correctly you have tier up to 8192 sq meters and would like to buy back 2048sq meters of land from the group you donated. Now if that is correct all you would need to do is set the land for sale to yourself at the price you wish to pay. Your teir should not increase if you are indeed paying for the 8192 sq meter teir. If you would like it so that only your friend benifts from the sale you would have to change some options in the group. You can set it so that the role she has is the only one that takes finical responibilty for the group. As I'm not online right now I am not sure the correct term that used in group options.

Now just so you know when you donate teir to a group you get a 10% bonus to the amount of land the group can hold. So in alot of ways its better to donate your teir to a group. Here is an article about that in the knowledge base. You can even set the group up so that only you have control over the land options, selling the land, etc. For instance I run a group for the land my store is located on. I donated all of my teir 8192 sq meters to the group. So the group can actually own 9011 sq meters. I set it up so that only me and my business partner (someone I've known for over 3 years and various other games) control all aspects of the land. Everyone else in the group are friends who do not own land themselves but wanted a place they could set as home.

I thought: when I want to buy from the group, I have to increase my tier first, exceed the peak, then take back the deed, but that's too late, I already exceeded the peak. Same with money, I thought I may need say 100.000 for a short moment even if I get 50.000 back. So you say, this problem does not exist? Thanks, Violet

I am confused you shouldn't have needed to up your tier. If you are at the 8192 sq meter teir and have 2048 of that free then buying the land back from the group wouldn't matter. Was the 2048 you had free donated to the group? When I orginally read your post it sounded as if you had 2048 free in addition to what you donated to the group. If that wasn't the case then you would have needed to remove your 2048 sq meters from the group before buying the land. You can always check how much land you are allowed to get by going to world>my land. From there it will tell you allowed land holdings (amount of sq meters) at current payment plan, current land holding, and aviable land (amount of sq meters) for purchase.


The group money is only distrubted once a week. So you'll get that back either Tuesday or as I like to call it allowance day. They also take out any fees that the group has incured over the week. Such as land listing fee and what not. If you go to edit>groups>info then hit the "land and L$" tab it will give you all that information.

You can pull your tier donation that you are currently giving to the group and then you should have enough tier to buy the land without going over your limit. As with the money, set the land sale to yourself for 0L. Buy it at 0L and then just pay your friend the half that you owe her. That would be the easiest way to do it, plus everyone would have what they want right away instead of having to wait for the group payments to go out.
