My friend is totally black to himself and to others after just logging on. He tried all the usual things that we all try when we have missing images, but nothing has worked. Has anyone else just experienced this and found a way to fix it? He's too angry to contact anyone about it atm, which is why I'm posting. Btw, everything is black....clothes, skin, eyes, hair....everything.

Usually my steps are:
1.) Open the appearance menu and close it again
2.) Press Ctrl+Alt+D to get the advanced menu and select Client --> Character --> Rebake Textures
3.) Clear your texture cache and relog
4.) Repeat steps 1-2 if needed
5.) Curse a lot. Well, sometimes it helps. Not the cursing, but 1-4

Thanks, that was one of the things he tried, besides relogging, rebooting, re-equipping everything including skin/clothes/eyes. I've posted in Technical Help too. Maybe it's a known issue. He doesn't have the missing textures look, nor is he invis like a ghost.....just jet black.
