I purchased a piece of lovely land, with extra prim use on it. However I am having the hardest time in movements, me or my objects for building, rezing, or building, click the object and get nothing but land info.. Once in about 15-20 min. or so I might get one side of a prim textured. Is it me, my pc, or is this to be expected in game play time of building or should it be better so I can resolve the problem? Thanks for all your kind advice,

Thanks for all your kind advice, Are there usually a lot of people in your Sim, Trella? Or are there businesses that could be running lag-inducing scripts? (Casino or Dance Club?) Have you tried teleporting to any random sandbox and creating/texturing there? (they may be laggy too) My Sim usually has few people in it, and I've never had any problem like you describe. My friend with an older computer says that everything is slower when he uses it, compared to logging into newer computers. You're welcome to try building something on my land (but I'm on a business trip and can't log in. SO BORED!). And I have build turned off. IM me Wednesday if you want to experiment in a different Sim.

it sounds more like an region then a client issue
if u can name the place then it`s possible to hop over and check the sim stats for an better answer

Does this happen in other Sims too, or just the one you live on. What sim are you on.
And no what your describing is not normal except in a heavily Lagged sim, or on slow computers

some areas. and some times more then others. But on one piece of land more then the other, both are in Darvos, and more so recently then in the past. & Thanks so much, I'll work on it more next week when I have time again.
Have a great week everyone and stay safe!

I agree with the others.. sound more like server lag rather than client. The solution would be to pack up, sell the lot, and move to a better sim. The Lesson: Don't buy land strictly on price (not saying you did..). Hang out for a while in the sim, maybe even check at various times of day, to see how many people frequent the sim. Ask yourself, are their clubs? casinos? Is it a newer rather than older server? One other thing to consider, you mentioned that it's worse in some areas rather than others.. can you find a spot where it's just fine? If not, you may have a connection issue. What sort of connection do you have? If you have a slow DSL connection, consider moving to cable or ponying up more cash for a faster DSL connection.

I own land in the sim not far from this one, and did not have the issues as in the new sim, and being I did check it out for a month or so before buying the other, since I lived there. The issues has worsened with down loads, it seems and this new property was were I was griefed, so I am wondering if someone does not wish me there. Of course now that I returned to my original sim last night, my home, someone has but up a huge tasteless ugly red brick building next door,, sadly the views are disappearing as much as my fun/enjoyment in the game. I beginning to think this is the way they keep one moving about always and selling. I myself like to settle and stay in one spot, and not have to move in less then 2 or 3 months all the time for best movement in game or a view. Thank you for your thoughts, & help

This connection has been

throughly checked out, $1000. "Real Money" worth of checked out in the past 3 months, by the server, and the PC was checked out for another $300 of service to be sure it was not the issue.
oh, and if there are other's there, I don't see them. I've talked to one nice fellow, (lives next door in the new sim) and that is it.
