I would like to attach my camera to a friend's AV and just ride along with them within a sim - say, while they are sailing or doing hand-to-hand combat. I do this, but there seems to be a distance limit - at some point my camera refuses to go further, and while it remains pointed in their direction, it refuses to continue to ride. Is there a way of removing this limit?

Of course I would not expect it to go along through a TP, lol.

This is just for sightseeing etc., not for filming.

An easy way to do things together while using Skype, no more losing track of each other due to lag etc..

You can go to Client>Disable Camera Constraints to increase the distance your camera will travel, although there are still limits. If you don't have the Client menu, hit Ctrl-Alt-D to bring it up.

I read about a script that teleports you to where your camera is, it might be interested to couple this with the follow friend's camera idea, so you could teleport to where your friend's camera is.

Thank you very much, the 'disable' thing worked great. And the TP might be handy too, since at some point you might want to participate in chat wherever you jointly go. I assume there's no way to move your chat 'ear' to wherever your camera is ...
