Hi
i have only been on SL for a few days, i started with a free account then upgraded to premium...

my question is, can i still collect free money from within the game?
i have been doing the surveys in the hippy place but i am not getting paid fopr them?
is this only available to free accounts?

I duno who runs the hippy pay things but i dont use them. I tried once and i didnt agree with it because you had to signup to have your email spammed with offers and junk. I don't think my email filter is worth clogging up for a few linden that isn't enough to make $1 USD.

The only thing i can tell you is try to either win a contest, sit in a money chair, or beg (which isn't necisarily effective on your part). My honest opinion is you'll probably have to get involved in a club as a dancer or escort. Also you could attempt to create something you think might sell good.

I duno though, lets see what other people have to add.

Basically you fill out surveys (and get email spam) and a portion of the lindens you earn for this goes to the machines owner.

I don't know how money trees work, but most work for those under thirty (sixty?) days. I'm not sure if they know your account status.

Also, there are camping chairs, but I recommend using those only if you are going to be doing other things outside of SL while camping (like when I started out, building an inventory).

I don't recommend begging if you are a premium account. Actually, I don't recommend begging period, since then you subject yourself to a lot of abuse.

Contests are great, though. Just be outspoken, work well within the contest theme.
