hello!  well, i am very confuse... i earn in SL some L$ and now i want to transfer them to US$ and then send the US$ to my bank account... i asked some people and they advise me to use the SLexchange site... well... ok... but how can i actually do it? - i know how to deposit $L to SLexchange (in the ATMs..) - i think i know how to change them to US$ in this site (sell L$ right?) - i dont know how to actually make the delivery to my bank account... how the site know where to send it? thank you very much! really! |

PayPal Yes, you can sell your Lindens for USD at the slexchange.com site at their Currency Exchange. 2- Once you get the Paypal account, you tell SLexchange the email address of your Paypal account, and they will send your USD to your Paypal account. Then, at Paypal, you can transfer your USD to your bank account. Paypal also works with other currencies as well. |

I have been a mamber of the exchange for some time and I have heard that their paypal payments are fast sometimes within hours but yet i have never done a payout thru them sooooo as an experiment i cashed out 50k 2007-04-19 21:31:55 was when i made the request and it is currently pending approval, We will see exactly how long a new withdraw person will take to get approval. That being said, teh slexchange folks are very helpful and they run a pretty good site all in all. Ill keep you all posted. I did a Linden labs paypal at about the same time. Off to the races the exchange is the favored winner at 3:1 odds any takers |

I run through the LindeX simply because the valuation of the L$ there is better for a seller. I generally get transfers right at the 5 day maximum time.
Once, it took the people at Linden Labs 6 days, so I called them on the 6th day and mentioned my transaction number and they transferred the money to me within the hour.
If you don't mind waiting 5 days for your money, LindeX does give you a better valuation, but SLEx seems to be the method of choice for many.

to the person who said lindex gets better value SlExchange allows limit buy a sell orders so you can get the same rates and cash out 8 days quicker with SlExchange (from my personal expericance) i did a limit sell last nite of 266:1 and it was filled by morning, Example 20k deal that would be at 291:1 68.72 (going rate) be at 266:1 75.18 ill take teh free 7 bucks if it means waiting a few hours for the limit sell to kick in
