I am stuck in a wall somewhere. How do I get out? (I'm entirely clueless here. Assume complete ignorance should you answer. TIA.)

Pull your camera out of wherever you are (alt-right click on something and pull the mouse backwards... Find something nearby... right-click on it and sit.

I have been there so many times myself. What a lovely place to be when you had rather be making love. If you are with another, have them teleport you back in.
