The times you found are in PST, an hour earlier than the current PDT?

The times in question are not set in stone. Especially in private estate regions, the estate owner may elect to explictly fix day cycles to something other than the "3 hours of sunshine 1 hour of darkness" cycle the mainland experiences, especially if doing so will improve Residents' experience in the island:

e.g. Vampiric themed regions (vampire haet sunlight)
Robbie Dingo's island (matches well with his version of Russian Roulette)
Orientation / Help Islands excepting Public instances: it's generally a lot easier for Residents who unfortunately have issues with enabling local lighting to view items under fixed daylight.

And then there's the matter of it being client-overridable to some extent using "Force Sunlight" (though this does not apply to sunlight-detection LSL functions)

So what time of the day is sunset? Pretty much any time you choose. :D
