I recenlty within past month i moved to new parcel and since i started there it seemed very laggy. it remains to grow more constant. before my move i had mod normal lag but the sim i was on with the other two parcel ownwers didnt have alot of traffic. i spoke to the land ownwer about this and he mentioned restarting the sim everyday. But what i think is occuring is the constant traffix of about 25+ more avatars in my new neighbors sim. we spoke many time about the lag the neighbor and i and she mentioned scripts and prims but the scripts im using are the same as the ones i had with my move and the prims well shes only using 2250 and im using about the same of a 15000 prm possible. so im sure it is nieher one of those. i am really thinging its the traffic causing my lag issues and though im happy someone is doing very well its hard to enjoy for myself when you freeze every few seconds and a majority of my sl friends hardly come due to the lag. i also fear witht he small business i run it will effect my customer traffic from returning. so really whaat i am asking is it the traffic that is causing it and if it is then my only resolution would be to find a less traffic location correct?

I read through this several times and I'm still not sure: is the traffic in question on this sim, or on a neighboring sim?

If the traffic is on this sim it could definitely contribute a lot of lag, especially if it's from agents that come and go (like shoppers) as opposed to staying around for hours. There's a known, very nasty bug that causes a sim to essentially freeze while rezzing-in an agent with Mono-scripted attachments. Reportedly, this bug is largely fixed in a soon to be released version, so at least there's some hope--if that's the problem you're experiencing.

If the traffic is on a neighboring sim... well, there are some effect of "child agents" on a sim's performance, but that doesn't sound quite like the symptoms described here.

If the "traffic" is bots, you can AR them.
