I just sold this 848m2 land and I forgot to switch it to just me.
Group is just me and alt.
But strange thing land says someone else owns but the Lindens haven't shown up.
Someone told me it won't show up until midnight sl time.
Is this new?
I sold land and this didn't happen that I remember the last time.

I sold land and this didn't happen that I remember the last time. No, it's not new. There is a delay for groups to get paid. Give it 24 hours. You and your alt will get the money. |

If your group sells land (and not you individually), the money goes to your group. It takes about a day for the money to be distributed from the group to all members who share in group liabilities and distributions (see the Accounting section in the roles/abilities window to change these permissions).

So, does that mean that it is best to transfer/sell the group land directly to yourself first, and sell it as an individual, and not as a group? In that case, he would have gotten his money immediately, right?

On another point, I'm the only person in my group who can receive dividends and incur losses. I sold some of the group land to myself today (I was just testing the whole deeding to group business) and it says we'll all get a third of the proceeds (obviosuly there are three in the group).
Does group land automatically pay out to each member no matter what the settings?

No, it will pay you as the only person participating in the accounting. It still calculates the share, but it will pay correctly.

So if there is only person who is in charge of group liablities,etc. my main guy then why does the alt get paid too?
I am bit confused about the accounting tab.

Be carefull buying your group land back. LL counts it as a new land purchase and you can actually jump a tier level by buying your own land back.
Only people with the accounting box checked will get paid and as earlier stated it does take 24 hours.
