MP3Pro

So the question I am asking: Does the FMOD player embedded in the SL client decode MP3pro streams? Sometimes my upload bandwidth gets a little tight so that my current 64Kbps stereo MP3 stream stutters. If I could knock it down to a 32 or 40Kbps Stereo MP3pro stream I'd have more breathing room. So will SL give me the high fidelity of an MP3pro stream or will it sound like a washed out lo-fidelity MP3 stream?

FMOD does not support mp3pro. It does, however, support Ogg Vorbis streams which is at least as good as mp3pro, if not better (and patent free as a bonus.)
