I had a basic account that I used very rarely. I was surprised, then, to one day find multiple charges appearing from Second Life on my credit card statement.
SL couldn't explain how they came about, especially as I don't share my computer and certainly never told anyone about my account. Nor did I have that easy a password to guess.
SL has not only been extremely slow in issuing a refund, they have failed to refund all of the money I've lost. Not only that, but every transaction, both debits and credits alike, are costing me international transaction fees.
SL customer service has been extremely unhelpful. The reps are clueless at best and apparently have no resources to help them out. They can't tell me when I'll get my money back or how it got removed in the first place.
SL STINKS.
