My shape hasn't looked right for sometime now. My chin is more pointy than it use to be. When a friend wears the shape the chin seems fine. I've tried editing appearance, change to female then back to male, updating drivers didn't help either.

Since it worked before and doesn't know, I suspect a corrupted file in the way you view your own av. |

I cleared my cache always do, I've also reinstalled twice.

You could always try and recreate the shape and see if that makes any difference. Not the most time-efficient solution, but it would rule out anything being wrong with the shape itself.

i know this might sound like a strange solution but it might be worth a try.
i had a similar problem.. but mine was with my forehead appearing wrong. (other people could see this) but when i gave a friend my shape it worked fine for them and i saw it looking fine on them too). ~ Like you i tried clearing cache and fully reinstalling SL...
then a friend told me to change my "hair base" and not my shape. Even if it was a "bald" hairbase... just change the hairbase (not any prim hair - the base)..... when i changed my hairbase it fixed my whole "strange face" thing.
i dunno if it'll work for you (because i know the brow area is associated with hairbase and the chin probably isn't).. but i figured you might want to give it a shot.

I had an entire shape corrupt after an extra long tp. I tried all the tips given to me, and nada. Sorry I dont have any advice to offer, but I can relate.
