Does anyone know how to remove the Hara Male defalt tattoos? I have realized that when I try to do it, it messed up the skin in that general area, and I was hoping there was a simple answer without having to go and buy a skin.

I don't know what your referring to but most tattos are set as clothes, worn over the skin, if removing them for some bizarre reason makes an effect on the skin there are some free skins available around, are you male or female?
hmm *thinks*
I cant think how removing the clothes would affect the skin unless a sort of guideline to where the tattos should line up was on the actual skin, very odd.
But i dont know what im talking about so perhaps I should lie down under a train.

1) If the tattoo is part of the skin (ie it was on the skin when you bought it) then, No, you can not remove it. The torso texture contains the skin and tat as one texture. The creator made it that way. You'd have to purchase a new skin without the tats. 2) If your skin is "blurring" after removing a tattoo clothing article (ie, a shirt, undershirt, jacket, etc) then if you wait a bit it will "focus". Changing from that skin to another and back may help as well. You can't "remove" a skin, only replace them, so if you don't have any other skin, you can always use the skins found in the LIBRARY folder of your inventory. Wear one and go back and wear your main after. ~Jessy

This isn't a tattoo I bought. That's a simple fix. This is the default Male Hara avatar that comes with a few tattoos. The thing is, when I put mine on, they overlap into a mess. So it's not a clothing article. It came with the default.
I considered buying a skin but they're all embarassingly muscular.

Assuming this is a skin that is giving you trouble, try the following.
As I'm not in SL at the moment, bare with me.
From your inventory, there are little pull downs at the top. One will allow you to create new body parts. Drop down to that and from the side menu, select to create a new skin. Now, find the new skin, wear it, and adjust by editting your appearance if needed.
I laughed when I read that this cannot be changed without buying a skin or finding a freebie. ;D
