My friends gamet in the preference- Adv.Graphic, the highest he can go is 64MB. At one time he had 128 does anyone know how he can get it back.

That's the graphics card memory. If he hasn't changed his card and the card is functioning ok maybe it will help if he can tick the box that says for the program to auto-detect the graphics hardware upon start.

Does he have a laptop? On some laptops, there is a toggle between "stamina" and "speed" mode, meant to conserve battery life, that also switches you from a weaker integrated graphics to a more powerful dedicated graphics card.
