This is about the monthly billing and trading limits. I've been a member for about 2 days now I I haven't moved up to the 2 to 13 days part. How long will it take to take effect?

the billing/trading limit represents how many days since you charged $L to your credit card, not membership length. if you charge a minimum of $1US, it will immediately begin to climb to desired trading levels.

it'd be nice if they explained that in the website.

You have to be charged for Premium membership, pay tier to LL, or buy Lindens from the Lindex before your bill date can be established and your trading limit moved forward. Until you do something that directly pays Linden Labs, you'll stay at day 0.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

It is on the web site:

https://secure-web15.secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php

In the section on Limits, the last bullet point under "Notes":

"Days" in the New Resident limits description refers to days since first billing transaction with Linden Lab.

I do think it should be more prominently displayed. Like in bold red flashing letter, right above the table showing limits by number of days. Or even better, on a 10 m tall spinning full-bright prim! ;)

thanks. i actually looked for it, and never found that info. navigating their legal stuff is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Alright, thanks. Makes sense now. Technically I've been a member for 2 days, but I've only payed one day. If it's not working tomorrow, then I'll have a problem.
