Hello, I contacted customer support yesterday about this and haven't heard from them and i was wondering why. I need help with the game i can't ask for live help no more so what do i do. Everytime an update happens my game keeps asking me to update again well normally i'd just cancel and go on through well this time it says download or quit as an option...well if i quit i can't get into the game and if i download it says i already downloaded the stupid patch. i am beyond frustrated with this. i need help. i sat on the phone for 30 mins i think maybe less waiting for Customer Support to answer the lines and got an answering machine lol....oh and no they didn't call back like they said they would. So i sent an email ticket. ok almost 24 hours later and alls i get is an automated reply. So now i'm sitting here thinking wth is going on. I called again about two hours ago and sat for a good 25 mins and got an answering machine again and i had to call the second time cuase the toll free number disconnected on me and i had to call the straight through number and spend 30mins worth of long distance time on my phone bill cuase the phone said the toll free number no longer existed. So now i'm on here hoping that someone if anyone from Linden Lab is even working this week and if i can get some help cause i don't want to install the update everytime i want to get into the game.

It took me 15 days to get an email response from them on a fairly simple issue.
There seem to be several very serious problems with this update, so I wouldn't count on getting assistance on your issue in the near term.
If I were in your position I would uninstall SL and re-install it.

Sayuri, try this. Download it from the website first off. Then uninstall SL and reinstall. This is the only thing I can think of to do.

I would add that you make sure all SL folders and files are deleted, and if you have a utilty to do so, clean your registry as well before reinstalling the game.

Hmm got the same problem , guess I might try the same thing, otherwise SL is working brilliantly, it's only since this update.
Edit-reinstall from the website dowloads worked for me, I didn't even delete the old files
