I have been looking for beaches to go with a date or just to hang out on and enjoy the sounds and scenery.

I might as well plug my own sim
 There is a public beach area on Waikiti, with several areas (some open, some secluded) where you can enjoy the sights and sounds. The public area is 1/4 sim, with ocean beach, an an inland lake, obligatory waterfall, and so forth. Just do a search for Waikiti Beach, it should be there. -Atashi _____________________

Gallirowe Island has a nice, quiet little beach area with blankets and a water slide, a couples area where you can enjoy a romantic picnic or bbq on an open rock fire ( I love the 'Smores ), have a cuddle or relax and chat in the gazebo to the sound of wind chimes. For a little fun you can jetski around the island racing each other or grab a paddleboat and take a leisurely trip for two taking in the views of a very natural looking island. There is a man made pool that's fed by the sea for quick dip and a great photo op sitting astride a jumping dolphin each.
There's a cafe with free food and drink to wine and dine your date and several pool tables if you fancy a game. I might be a little biased as I know the owner but I genuinely do believe it's a great place to spend time with someone important to you. And, as most of the time it is quiet with only the locals about, you can enjoy that time in peace and undisturbed. |
