I have some land which I wish to deed to a group owned by me, this is to allow Officers of the group Eject and Ban rights. When I try and deed the land to the group it says that there are
insufficient land credits. So my question is how can I achieve this without the possibility of my objects being returned to me if I donate the necessary land to the group before I deed the land. I'm guessing if I contribute the land to the group I will be short of land credits to support the objects until I set it to group ownership... am I right? I'd hate to have to build everything again.

This is usually a royal pain in the arse. Instead of automatically deeding, it's checking to see if the group has enough tier donated to it first. It doesn't do this if you buy the land for group outright. If you won't blow your tier, donate your land tier to group first and then deed the land. If it will, you should set up an alt to sell the land to, and then buy the land for your group outright in about land using the buy for group button. You need to make sure, however, that the group powers are set up such that no one else has the right to sell your land. If it is island land, get the island owner to reclaim the land and then re-sell it to you, and then buy the land for group using the buy for group button in about land. |
