Problems with [URL] and smilies

Hi.

I don't see smilies at the right side of the text editors, am I supposed to?

I'm also having issues with the (they are not turning into links like they are supposed to..

I am supposed to be?

Skip, BBCode formatting has been turned off temporarily. Check the announcement on the top of this forum. I would paste a link in, but that would be almost pointless, huh?

Temporarily implies a short time. This has gone on long enough that BBCode has been disabled and maybe someday if someone at LL feels like working on it they may put it or something like it back.

LL's SOP of removing a feature with a claim of replacing it with something "better" when they have nothing to replace it with and appearently no intention of ever replacing it is just one of the many poor business practices that LL has in place.

It might be your browser. I only see the smilies on the right when I use Safari, but in Firefox on WinXP, it's in the button bar across the top of the edit window. It's the second button from the left, in the top row, just a white smiley face with a drop-down arrow next to it. Clicking on that drops down a menu to select from.

Yeah, sorry for just repeating the company line. I too am frustrated. My sales today are almost non-existent since search is also "temporarily" down. Honestly, I accept that problems will occur. It's mostly the complete lack of information from LL that drives me nutty.
