I've spent the evening plowing my way through lists of boat suppliers provided by the 'search' facility and SLX classifieds, then visited ship yards and marinas by the score..to no avail. So once again I turn to the forum for help. I'm looking for a boat; actually I'm looking for two boats. One a sailing boat, not a huge luxury job or for that matter a one man dingy, but a classic wooden yacht, also I'm looking for a classic wooden power boat...the sort you might see cruising about Lake Geneva with Sophia Loren in the back seat, back in the 1960's..very beautiful and sleek (that's the boat not Sophia). I suspect nobody's building anything like this, but someone out there just might be able to help...  |

Mannie Madonna makes wonderful classic wood power boats.
Blaze Neilson also makes a nice classic wood power boat.
Jacqueline Trudeau makes awesome wood sailing yachts.

The Trucordia by Trudeau Yachts is a classic yawl. Sails great, too.
Available in world, I think at FairChang Sydney, or on SLExchange.
