abandonned land question.

There a parcel I'd like to buy. The owner builded an really ugly casino with 2 machines and 3 money doublers... not the point here.
whatever: this guy didn't come in sl for months. when can I expect his land returned to lindens and avbailable for buy?

As LL automatically debits the payment method for continuing your account and to pay tier, the land will be his until he cancles his payments to LL.

THEN (if he doesn't come in and sell the land), 30 days after his accoutn cancelation is when LL reclaims the land.

There is no timeframe after that for when the land will go up for auction.

Most defaults come from people letting their premium expire, I think. Premium membership, AFAIK, does not get auto-renewed.

If you Search People for the parcel owners name and it doesn't show up, you can do a support request asking for the parcel to be put on the auction block.

Only if you Abuse Report (AR) the casino and they act on it. Might get your friends to AR it also.

Once the person does default and it goes to Gov. Linden, drop Guy Linden an IM that you're interested in the property (assuming you are). Sometimes that will get the property looked at for the auction block sooner, but no promises :)

LL doesn't have a group of 'Casino Hunters', they don't know, and probably don't care where they are. At best, upon receiving a complaint about gambling machines, thy will remover the machines, the building won't go anywhere.

There has been a small parcel of land next to my place for sale at a ridiculous high price since last year. It has for sale signs on it too, it is an eyesore. But the owner is not open to offers and claims they'll get the full price eventually.

And meanwhile they pay tier every month.. if you want it that bad, hang in there, eventually they'll get tired and lower the price.
