Is there any way to upload a pdf to SL? Can you embed a photo into a notecard? Did anyone notice this post is NOT about landbots that use toilet paper while caging furries? (Please, I'm only looking for answers to the first two questions. Don't flame me just because I'm sassy.)

1. PDFs can not be uploaded to SL

2. Pictures (ie textures or snapshots) can be added to a notecard as long as they are set to full perms before attempting to add the image.

3. Yes I did notice. (oops wasn't supposed to answer that one)

WorkAround : Convert the PDF to TGA then upload as a texture.

You can only like to PDF as an outfacing source, not render it in SL, this would require a pluggin within the client code which is not supported.

Not totally accurate. If there were a Quicktime handler for supporting PDF's you could display them via the land media stream. I doubt there is one for PDF though.
