HI;

This is my first post in any SL forum. I saw this thread and wanted to say THANK YOU for SL Live Help!

I started SL in November, due to limited knowlege of computers, etc. I fumble daily, but I am trainable, hehe.

In my first month, some new friends and I were going to a dance of somekind. I wanted to look nice of course, so I, well I don't to this day know how it happened, but I put on a costume folder and became everything in it. Ended up a man Pirate type and Ugly at that! And I'm a female.

My 2 friends, also new, and I, were crying we were laughing so hard. Then it wasn't funny anymore, I had no idea how to really fix it, and was making things worse. My friends stayed with me for more than an hour, and I knew then, they were REALLY my friends. ha! We are now neighbors on a beautiful beach.

Anyway, no one walking by seemed to want to help an Ugly Pirate man, with a huge neck. I saw "live help". I had never used it, and considered it to be like a 911 emergency call. Well, this was a 911. A guy came and laughed real hard at the situation and it took another hour to fix me. I love him, whoever that was.

I help new people on a daily basis, and will always do so, due to LIVE HELP!

I almost forgot!

Last month, my friends and I were shopping, having fun...to be brief-some cowboy looking guy was upset....

He misunderstood the situation and the 5 of us could not help him...he was determinded to be verbally abusive to all of us....So much so he actually scared me and I logged off. I started to cry in rl, hehe.

I felt I couldn't leave my friends in that situation, and have to resolve my own reaction to this. When I arrived, the abuse continued, even from his Astro'd to orbit place. One of my friends sent him on a trip, a needed trip. I'll spare you the details....but it was not pretty and very upsetting to me.

Some Linded then responded, and then showed me how to "mute", I didn't know you could do that. So glad you can too. She told me to move along and go and have fun, I passed this on to my friends, and we were thankful for that help.

btw-last month I got a new toy, some "farty" thing. A friend and I were at a freebie area and were playing with my new toy. I got silly with it and made various people fart, most of us were laughing. Suddenly, I was thrown, and banned. I was so upset! I was told to go to the land owner...finally found how to do that, paid more than 75L...Then, one day I was searching sl stuff and I found out I am on LIST of the Banned?>>??? @^@
Problem is on the banlist it states the offense "farting" (ha), and says I was repeatedly told to stop, which I honestly can say is not true. I got one IM from someone there asking me what was up. He did not identify himself, as I think he should have. Why couldn't he send me to orbit? I would have stopped laughing and woken up! I hate the fact that I have a criminal record for farting. (haha), but, I really think I should have gotten sent to Juvinal hall, I was a newbie! Now I'm on a list w griefers? banlist should be more accurate. love sl. SkyCat

First, they didn't orbit you cause orbiting others is against the game rules. So they banned ya and put your name up on a ban list.

Your first experience reminds me of one of mine. I had only been here for a few days, if that long. I had gone to all of the newbie places and picked up a bunch of stuff. Of course, I wanted to try it on and see what it looked like.

So here I am all decked out in my pretty freebie hair (I still loved that one) and beautiful dress I had just bought at Pixel Dolls. They were having this huge sale. Anyway, I decide that I'm going to try on the .....can't remember the name of it now! I know it started with an "a". As soon as I remember, I'll come edit this post. Anyway, Here I went from being this cute little newbie female to an big huge ugly muscular mean looking male, wearing a blond long hair style wig and a beautiful dress.

Turns out, it was a shape, and I couldn't take it off. You have to replace shapes with other shapes. I tried so hard to put myself back to how I was supposed to be, but was making it worse. A couple of others flew past, and one even landed right by me. I sat there and begged for help, but all he saw was a huge ugly cross dressing male in front of him and he ran in the other direction just as fast as he could.

I of course had no male clothes anywhere in my inventory so had to stay in what I had. I was in tears at this point because the whole reason I was going through stuff is I was dressing up to hopefully meet up with somebody else in a short while.

I quickly tp'd back to Pixel Dolls where I bought a shape and a skin real fast, threm them on and did my adjusting. End result wasn't too bad. When I told my friend what had happened, he sat there and laughed at me.

Okay, so it was funny, but still! lol
