People of Digitally Boxed Flatland,
While reading the blog post comments about Viewer 2.0 it looks to me as if more & more people are having issues with ATI video cards due to lack of proper OpenGL support on ATI's drivers. For stability I have found turning off Catalyst A.I. can help, although my results are subjective and non reproducible. Yes, I am using Updated Drivers. for my ATI 4870 to get trumped by my Nvidia 8800 in FPS & Stability is just sad.
Now that the issue has more people involved, I think it is proper time to ask this question: Has anyone found any relief with their 3*** 4*** 5*** series card? Third Party Drivers? Swapped OpenGL libraries? Registry Edit? Devil Worship? Having your friend hold the antenna in place for signal? Virgin Sacrifice? Base Jumping? Lighting the video card on fire?
Seriously though, has anyone found success on getting their ATI video cards to work better? if so, how?
