Is Appearance options offline?

Since Wednesday intermediately I can't create new clothing in appearance.
Has anyone else experienced this? Or is it just me?

One thing that has never worked smoothly for me, even when the rest of SL has been perfect, is 'appearance' because the textures in the pics are permanently flashing and changing as thought they are in perpetual download.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not. The appearance menu isn't very reliable. I always create new clothes from the Inventory menu ("Create --> New Clothes"  . That way you can also control in which folder you create them. |

Happens to me a lot too. Very annoying when trying to edit my shape. I found a nice way to fix it though was to build a white box around myself and float it very very high in the sky. Tends to work nicely for me. |

Anyway thanks, between appearance thing and not being teleport off on this week its been one of the rougher one's for me. Neve had a problem with appearance not working before since I have joined.

i think they are created, have you checked ur cloths folder, you have to put them on ur self, the apparence doesnt do that anymore, [it is anoying lol suddenly ur naked and lost ur cloths.
i bet ud have heaps of the new cloths in ur cloths folder. after wondering the same thing thats where i found them.

Once you click on the make new top/pants/skirt, jacket (or whatever) look in your "clothing" folder. You will have a new clothing item (whatever is it you are making). Choose to wear it and then do the rest of your making of the item with appearance mode.
Pain in the you know what, I know.......but it works.

Oh I didn't know the make new whatever in appearance slider had been disabled.
I must missed that notice.
That would make sense why I can do somethings like change body shape but not make new outfits.
I will check my inventory next time first.
Thank you I just was wonder why nothing was working way I was expecting it too. LOL
