Making skins

Hi All,

Can someone leve a link on how to make skins or any info on the subject. Do I upload skin I have in invo onto photo shop or do i use template. I know its not going to be easy but need to know how to start.

Any useful info appriciated

use the content creator's texture forum there is tons of info on how to make this kinda stuff in there

there is not a lot about skins however (well kept secret me thinks) however there are plenty of hints and yes you use a template all the templates can be found in the texture forum

I don't think its any secret, I think there are just so many different ways to do it.

hehe i dont know i am busy making my first one I just noticed that there is no actual tutorial on that but there is one for a few different clothing types. Even though you can make a wrinkle 20 different ways there are about 3 different wrinkle making tutorials on that forum but for skins I noticed its scant and wondered why is all it was mostly just me being my usual joking type and I dind't mean it literally. Its like when my father used to ask my mother where she "hid" the whatever he didn't really mean it as hide it just was put away and he couldn't remember where.. its an aquired sense of humour I suppose..


On a side note today I had to put a lid on my 10x10 box in the sky at the altitude of 400 feet with no transporter to lead to it. I was busy getting people flying in to see my naked genderless avatar it was nuts. I would leave him standing there and do some edit on the skin and since its my first one I am importing it every brush 3 strokes or something because the lighting is wrong outside of SL to check it. I would kick someone out using eject and they would be back 5 minutes later and i have to ban em. I would come back to my computer to see at least one person in my little white box in the sky staring at my half drawn skin with a half made shape i threw under it so i could see what i am doing..

I dnot have this problem when I am making clothes though? seems like the first person sent a landmark to her friends or something cause I have never had this problem before? lol

so now i put a lid on the box they will probably find a way in using teleport or something
