Tattoes

Hi Folks I'm pretty new in secondlife and I want to make my own tattoes, now there are courses given about anything but making tattoes. Can someone please tell me how to make em in second life? I know how to use photoshop and other graphic programs since that is my profession. Thnx in advance Rose.

*coughs* anyway... what you need to do is download the templates from http://secondlife.com/community/templates.php and edit those, then upload them and put them on using the Edit Appearance box.

You need 100% alpha transparency on the rest of the image - think of it like a wrap round sleeve which obviously the clear won't show when it's done. Make sure you save as a 32 bit Targa file and it should work.

I'm not an expert, but that's the technique.

Go down the the "Design & Texturing" forum a few forums down, there's a ton of information and help there for creating clothings, skins and tattoos.
