Help. I am stuck on a sim and can't leave, teleport doesn't work, and I can't walk off the sim.
Please send assistance. SL logs me off if I try top teleport off the sim, I can't even teleport from within the sim, and if I try to walk off it I just fall through.

try logging out then when you log back in put in a new location or go to your home (unless sim in question is your home, then just place a new sim name) um for a list of different ones I usually refer to slexchanges location of atm's list hehe

Ah, this may not be relevant to anything, but... do you see a field of corn?

Just wondering... strangely enough, it may shed some light on the situation.

Something like this happend to me to me once. I didn't have a home set, so I could only log back into the same place that trapped me. I got out by using this Second Life web site. I searched for something -- I think I used NCI (New Citizen's Incorporated) and it gives you landmarks that open your Second Life viewer and log you in at that new location.

I haven't had to do that for a while. I got the impression it was a server side problem. W.G.

This may have even less relevance but....

do not be troubled for you are in Alysium and you are already dead"

Just a thought....

I always check my connection, and try taking a few steps, if I have less than 10 IM's going at one time... on the basis that I may have crashed LOL... Funny how IM's still work oneway, even though you are disconnected from SL.... hmmm.. you would think there would be some error catching in the client code to detect that.

My first indication of a comms failure with SL is I cannot go forwards or backwards. I can turn. I can 'cam in' on things. I can IM. I just can't go forwards.
