How do I terraform out persistent land lumps?

I have some lumpy "beach" areas on my land that will not respond to either the SL land tools, my trusty plywood leveler, or a terraforming product that I bought. They are most evident along the water line. I would really appreciate any comments on this topic and any reference to something I could read that would educate me more on terraforming. Thanks!

It may be the terraform limits of the piece of land. For example, a hillside will never go completely flat if it was originally meant to be a hillside.

Try this:

Edit Terrain>Select entire plot (Make sure everything is outlined in yellow)>Click the raise land circle>Click the apply to selection button until the land won't go up anymore>Click the flatten land circle>Click the apply to selection button until the land won't flatten anymore.

That will show you how flat/unbumpy your land can get. The other option is to repeat the above but lower the land instead of raising it before you flatten. Good luck!

Use the smooth option...it flattens bumps. However it it is already at it's highest, to get rid of the bumps you might have to put it underwater.

You can sometimes get bumps even if you're well within the terraform limit.

One thing that - usually, not always :( - tends to work for me is to raise/lower in the opposite direction (with a prim leveller) and then from there go back to the height you want it at.

If they're right on the border of a neighbour's parcel, you'll probably have to ask your neighbour to work with you to get things all smoothed out.
