I have a quick question......how do you control prim counts in a mall?? I am starting a small mall and I am kinda confused on how to control prims for renters? I have another sim that I parceled out to renters to help keep count, but I cant wrap my head around how to do it without parceling the land (which I dont want to do). Any help or suggestions would GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!! DarkSoul Nosferatu

Object under about land will show how many prims belong to who.
I'm sure there's a scripted item somewhere to auto-monitor that.
Look into Hippo's products, and Aeonvox. Those might have something like this.

Also, if you own the sim, you can simply subdivide the vendor areas into their own parcels. This does many things beneficial to both renter and mall owner. For one, the renter can simply buy the lot for say, the first week's tier, and then they'll have control over the land so they can have a destination in search, they can pay $30 a week to show in search as well, set landing points so their customers can TP right to the shop via a landmark, set media settings, etc. All things that will attract potential renters. Nothing bugs a renter more than not being able to set a landing point in their shop, and having to have a customer TP in and then walk a large distance to get to the store. Since your the sim owner, you can evict them and take back ownership of the parcel if they fail to pay tier and simply return their objects. Also, sub-dividing out the lot will automatically keep them within their prim count, and you will not be bothered checking prims all the time. If you're on mainland though, it's not possible to do this because A) they have to be premium, and B) if they own it, you can't evict them if they decide to quit paying you rent. I highly recommend that you go this route if you own the sim as this is how most malls work. I personally won't rent space unless I can get control of the land.
