I've used voice a little bit lately, mostly just with someone stood next to me but I was wondering how far away you can hear people's conversations?
I was on a sim having a look around and could hear two guys having conversation over quite a few parcels. Hearing everyone else's conversations would start to annoy me to be honest.

QA in the knowledge base says 40-80 meters: Q. Why did my audio stop working after a while? A. One of several things may have happened: - You moved to a non voice-enabled region - You moved to a different voice-enabled region and failed to connect - You are out of audible range (40-80m) of other avatars that are voice-enabled - Your viewer's audio connection has become disconnected |
