Just bought a new suit and its been put into my objects folder, but i aint got a clue as to wear the thing, can someone point me in the right direction please.

Hi Elaine, what does it look like in your inventory? Is it a single object or a folder containing items? If a folder, select which items you wish to wear and drag them to your avatar. If a single object, find somewhere that allows build, drag it to the ground, right-click on it and select open. A box should open showing the contents with a button 'copy to inventory'. Do this and close your object and 'take' - to be tidy. You probably won't need this box again so if the items were non-copy they will no longer be in th box. You can probably delete this. Find your folder and follow my earlier suggestion.  |

If it's in your objects folder, beside an icon that looks like a cube, odds are the suit is packaged inside something. Drag the cube to the ground in a place where it's "legal" to rezz something, and you will see the pointer turn into a little green circle with a plus sign on it. The box, or shopping bag, or whatever, will appear, and you can then right click on that to take the contents into your inventory. You'll then find the clothing somewhere in your inventory, listed under the same name as the original box, I think. You can then right-click to select the items, and choose "wear" from the drop-down menu. "Wearing" that original box-shaped item is a classic mistake, by the way -- we've all done that, and ended up sporting a giant cube somewhere on the body Enjoy your new outfit! |

Weird because I get a little white rectangle with a plus sign, not a green circle. One of the mysteries of SL I suppose... Doesn't effect how things work though, I do rez things the same way. |
