I think I've seen on previous posts about this that it isn't possible, but it might be worth contacting a Linden as you never know!

Only if your first name is broadly offensive will they allow you to change it. Maybe if you can find a country where Lynne translates as something bad....

You can't send items that have permissions set to "no transfer" to anyone, be it a stranger our your own alt. In a way it seems like this is stating the obvious.

You can put all transferrable items in the inventory of an object (i.e, a box). For no-xfer items, you're out of luck.

Sounds like you've learned the hard way about no-transfer Betsy. It really does mean that you will never, ever be able to give or sell no-transfer items to another avatar. You have to buy them again for the alt account. It's a pity they won't let a main account and alts share the same inventory, but such optimal use of the asset server is beyond Linden Lab apparently.

In Serbo-Melanesian, a somewhat exotic language to be sure, Lynne means, uhm... actually, it's so bad a word that it doesn't bear repeating in polite company.

For the items that ARE transferrable, you don't have to go through the trouble of putting them on SLX or selling them or putting them in a box. You just need to open your alt's profile and drag the items out of your inventory onto the profile. Then when you log on as your alt, it will say "so and so has offered you inventory" (or something like that). Click "keep" or "accept" (can't remember what the exact message says) and boom it now belongs to your alt. Again, this only works for TRANSFERRABLE items. And it wouldn't hurt to test it first with a couple of worthless full-perm items (like a plywood box you created) just to make sure you're doing it right.
