Where are the best Slingo Games?

Since joining SL, I have found that I need to relax from the building, exploring and shopping and found Slingo Games to be less taxing on the mind.

Realising that you can play Solo or in a Group, where are the best places to play which offer the following:

1. LAG FREE - you quickly learn that places with loads of scripts, lighting etc create lag and although the game owners discourage this, it still continues.

2. HIGH POTS - why are people reluctant to pay higher amounts when playing Slingo? If say the L$-USD exchange is 280, why do people only put in L$ 10 (or less) per game? If you played a game in RL which cost US$0.50 (which you wouldn't think twice about paying) this would equate to L$140, so why do people shirk at paying say L$100 per game?

I have played Slingo in groups at ParrotHead and Extreme.
PARROTHEAD always suffers from high lag, very low pots (typically L$500) and winners are supposed to pay 30% back to the pot. Play is slow.
EXTREME never has lag and large pots (typically L$2500) and winners only put back 20%. Play here is quick and enjoyable.

Could it not be scripted by the game owner to charge L$50 (US$0.20) per game and once payment has been made then the game card is issued, ensuring everyone pays the same amount to play the game? Also that when you win, the game owner automatically takes a % back to the pot, so no-one "forgets"?

Try Emerald Falls Sl-ingo in Enyo.

Hosts volunteer for tips. Pots range from 100 - 1000, had a 54k one last month.

People that play are very nice and usually have quite a bit of fun.

Check event listings or just drop by. Seems the game has been running all hours.

Lag in Enyo? Hardly ever...it is why we moved SL-ingo to that Sim from ours next door.

:D

Check out The Lot on Urbane, I'm pretty sure we have a Slingo game tonite and regularly have good pots, and lag is very minimal.

In regards to #2....

Granted I can't speak for everyone....but it's been my experience that many of the people who play Slingo don't really have a lot of L's to spare, hence the 10 and 20 here and there. You walk in with 50L that's enough for 5 games with a 10L buy in. And when a single game can net you between 100-500L....it's not a bad turnaround. The first time I ever broke 500L was after winning my first game of Slingo, for a pot of about 760. I put 360 back and called it a day, deciding to quit while ahead. Payed back the hostess who'd front 20L for me to play two games, went and bought an hat or something, and pocketed what was left for future games.

When you're unverified account and not a content creator, your only souces of income are working (which pays what? 100L a day if you're extremely lucky?), and gaming.
