As far as I can remember, if you had mod rights for someone, you used to be able to "take" rezzed items as well. Did that change with this update?

Apparantly you can only take things that are mod-enabled for the current owner (next owner permissions on modify don't make a difference). Makes no sense .

I don't think you were ever allowed to take other people's items, mod rights or no mod rights. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's always been that having mod rights allows you to move, scale, rotate, etc. the other person's stuff, but not to take it or delete it.

I believe Mod Rights only allow you to take rezzed items that are transferable. Non-Trans items are still a no-no. At least, that's always been my expereince with it.

But it seems it also applies to no-mod objects now:
  1. Rez two prims, set one to M/NC/T for next owner and the other to NM/NC/T
  2. Have an alt buy the two prims (give works too, just more hassle :))
  3. Alt grants mod rights

You can take the mod-enabled prim, but you can't take the one that's no-mod.

You can and while it does have good uses, I wish they would make it clearer what exactly the risks are when you grant someone mod rights.

I'mnot sure, but this may be related to the reasons (whatever they are) that LL disabled being able to reset scripts in NoMod items. Disabling that may have completely upset a series of Mod permissions.

I'd say to Bug Report it. I'm going to try to repro it myself to send in a report. And yes, you used to be able to take any Trans item that a person who had given you mod rights had rezzed.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.
